Deputy Director of the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Professor, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor. Specializes in the treatment of sepsis and septic shock, respiratory failure, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and other critical respiratory diseases. Graduated from Shanghai Second Medical University (now Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine) with a major in Clinical Medicine in 1998, obtained a Master's degree in Surgery in 2004, and a Doctoral degree in Anesthesiology in 2010. In 2017, visited the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Hong Kong and the ICU of Queen Mary Hospital as a visiting scholar. Long-term engagement in clinical and basic research on the pathogenesis and therapeutic strategies of perioperative sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and pulmonary fibrosis, with extensive clinical experience in perioperative hemodynamic monitoring and treatment, as well as comprehensive diagnosis and management of respiratory failure and septic shock. Presided over 5 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, published over 60 papers, including nearly 30 SCI papers as first/corresponding author, with more than 20 papers in JCR Q1 journals. Participated in the compilation of 2 clinical expert consensus statements, applied for and obtained authorization for 2 national invention patents and 5 utility model patents. Some research findings were highlighted in an editorial by the American journal Laboratory Investigation and published as a cover paper. In 2015, awarded the Chinese Medical Association Critical Care Medicine Award (Young Investigator Award), and in 2016, selected for the F5000 (Frontrunner 5000) Top Academic Papers in Chinese Excellent Scientific and Technological Journals by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China. In 2017, funded by the Shanghai Outstanding Young Medical Talent Training Program. In 2021, received a commendation from the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission for public institution staff. In 2023, ranked among the top 100 scholars in the field of critical care medicine nationwide for academic influence of their papers.
