Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex ophthalmic diseases, with a primary focus on vitreoretinal diseases, including various fundus diseases, complex cataracts, and minimally invasive surgical treatment of ocular trauma. Has also accumulated extensive experience in multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment of complex orbital diseases. Completed training in ocular microsurgery and cataract surgery at Aravind Eye Hospital in India, and has pursued visiting studies at Wills Eye Hospital in the United States, Edouard Herriot Hospital in Lyon, France, and the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine in Canada. Research Directions Engages in research on the pathogenesis and treatment strategies of fundus diseases. Has led 6 research grants at various levels, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Program/General Program, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission Natural Science Foundation. Has published over 10 SCI papers as first author and corresponding author.
