Specializes in echocardiographic assessment of structural heart diseases such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, valvular heart disease, and congenital heart disease. Has long been engaged in clinical and teaching work in cardiology. Performs nearly 10,000 echocardiographic examinations annually, including over 100 critical cases. Proficient in various echocardiographic techniques including transesophageal echocardiography, exercise/pharmacological stress echocardiography, right heart contrast echocardiography, and myocardial contrast echocardiography. Competent in intraoperative echocardiographic monitoring and guidance for alcohol septal ablation in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and left atrial appendage closure. As a key member of the cardiology teaching team, undertakes teaching rounds, CBL lectures, and clinical clerkship/internship supervision, and has received multiple teaching awards.
