Research Achievements Has undertaken and been responsible for over 10 research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, major grant programs of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, grant projects of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the "Medicine-Engineering Integration" Fund of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and sub-projects of the National 863 Program. Research achievements have received the Second Prize of the Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award. Has published over 150 papers, including nearly 50 indexed by SCI, and has contributed to multiple monographs including the national unified textbook "Surgery" and the "Standardized Residency Training Manual for General Surgery." Has trained over 50 doctoral and master's students. Serves as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery and as an editorial board member and invited peer reviewer for multiple domestic and international journals. Serves as a grant review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education, the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and the Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Commission. Research Directions Has completed clinical training at the Affiliated Hospital of Tohoku University (Rosai Hospital) in Japan, the Affiliated Hospital of Johns Hopkins University in the United States, and Seoul National University Hospital in South Korea. Has participated in the compilation of various editions of China's clinical guidelines and expert consensus for the diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer and gastrointestinal stromal tumors. Has led multiple prospective multicenter surgical clinical studies in China and served as a site PI in multiple international and domestic multicenter clinical trials (such as the KEYNOTE-585 study and the CLASS series of studies). Personal Honors Has received titles including Outstanding Teacher of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Outstanding Teacher of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Chief Teacher of Surgery for the Outstanding Teaching Team of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and Project Leader of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission's Excellent Course in Surgery / Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine's Excellent Course in Surgery. In 2013, was named a Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leader; in 2015, was recognized as one of the nation's top 100 "Good Teachers in the Hearts of Residents" and received the National Outstanding Teacher Award - Baosteel Outstanding Teacher Award (special prize candidate); in 2017, was named a Shanghai Leading Talent; in 2018, received the Shanghai Benevolent Physician - Outstanding General Surgery Specialist Award; in 2020, was honored as "National Famous Doctor - Outstanding Contributions"; in 2021, received the Shanghai Jiao Tong University "Teaching and Educating" Award. Previously served as a member of the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th Shanghai Pudong New Area Political Consultative Conference; currently serves as a deputy to the 16th Shanghai Municipal People's Congress.
