Director of the Department of Neurosurgery, Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine Concurrently serves as Director of the Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Renji Hospital and Deputy Director of the Shanghai Institute of Traumatic Brain Injury Clinically specializes in the treatment of traumatic brain injury and various brain injuries, neurocritical care, and management of complications. In research, focuses on brain injury protection and neural repair and regeneration, and is committed to promoting innovation translation, health science popularization, and student mentorship. Awarded the First National Outstanding Young Physician, Shanghai Oriental Talent Education Platform Top Talent, and Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leader (Youth). Recipient of the Wang Zhongcheng Chinese Neurosurgery Physician Award Young Doctor Award, Wang Zhengguo Trauma Medicine Innovation Award, Shanghai Silver Snake Award, Shanghai Outstanding Young Medical Talent, Shanghai Health Science Popularization Leading Talent, Minhang Leading Talent, Shangyao Xinglin Education Award, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine Double Hundred Research Physician. As first/corresponding author (including co-author), has published 37 articles in journals including Lancet Neurology, eClinicalMedicine, Nature Communications, and Intensive Care Medicine (21 in Q1 journals). Undertakes 4 General Projects and 1 Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, holds 20 authorized patents with 1 successfully translated, and received the 2021 Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award First Prize (4th contributor), Chunsheng Cup Second Prize, and Shanghai Science Popularization Works Top Ten in Book Category. Chief editor of 1 monograph and associate editor of 1 monograph. Has mentored 7 graduated master's students, including 1 recipient of the Shanghai Outstanding Graduate award and 3 recipients of the National Scholarship. Currently supervises 8 doctoral students and 1 master's student.
