Clinically focuses on the surgical treatment of nasal and sinonasal skull base tumors, and has achieved a leading domestic level in the surgical treatment of refractory diseases such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma, olfactory neuroblastoma, and benign and malignant tumors related to the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, and skull base. Established the first innovative unit for sinonasal skull base tumor research in China, led the sinonasal skull base surgery team to propose a new endoscopic surgical classification for nasopharyngeal carcinoma, pioneered salvage surgical resection and reconstruction for advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma invading the internal carotid artery, was the first in China to adopt internal carotid artery embolization technology, innovatively used covered stents and temporalis muscle flap nasopharyngeal skull base repair techniques, and established an innovative system for the surgical treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma, saving the lives of a large number of patients with advanced recurrent nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
