Currently serves as the Director of the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Pediatrics Medical Center and Director of the Obstetrics Department at Peking University International Hospital. With over 30 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, mainly engaged in research and clinical work in perinatal medicine, specializing in the healthcare of advanced maternal age pregnant women, management of pathological obstetrics including gestational diabetes mellitus, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, thyroid disease during pregnancy, pregnancy complicated with immune diseases, preterm birth, and infections during pregnancy, as well as the rescue and treatment of critically ill and complex pregnant women; prenatal diagnosis and genetic counseling. As a maternal healthcare expert in Beijing, provides guidance to lower-level hospitals, participates in consultations for difficult and complex cases outside the hospital, and organizes the rescue of critically ill patients. Previously studied at Kansai Medical University in Japan. In recent years, as a principal investigator, has undertaken multiple research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission Research Fund, Beijing Municipal Education Commission Research Fund, Capital Special Research Projects, and Capital Medical University President's Fund. Main research focuses on obstetric diseases affecting pregnant women and optimized management during pregnancy, with particularly in-depth basic and clinical research in thyroid disease during pregnancy and preterm birth. Since 2001, served as Deputy Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beijing Friendship Hospital, Capital Medical University; from 2008 to 2016, served as Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Teaching and Research Section, Director of the Ministry of Health Standardized Residency Training Base, Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Pharmacological Base, Director of the Beijing Prenatal Screening Center and the Beijing/Xicheng District/Fangshan District Critical Maternal Rescue and Referral Center, and led the establishment of the Prenatal Diagnosis Center at Beijing Friendship Hospital. Adhered to the discipline development direction of comprehensive development in clinical care, teaching, research, and talent cultivation. Led the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology to receive the hospital's Advanced Department award 7 times, obtained the Outstanding Teaching Team award from Capital Medical University, received multiple individual and advanced teaching and research section awards from the hospital, and established the Excellent Course in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Capital Medical University. During tenure, established the master's and doctoral training programs in obstetrics and gynecology. Presided over and organized eight sessions of the national-level continuing education project—National Obstetric Critical Care Diagnosis and Treatment Progress Training Course, training over 2,000 grassroots medical personnel to improve medical staff's early identification and standardized management of critically ill pregnant women.
