Executive Director of the National Clinical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases at Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University, and Director of the Specialized Geriatric Medicine Center at Peking University International Hospital. He specializes in basic and clinical research on Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and related neurodegenerative diseases in the elderly, with extensive research conducted particularly in the fields of epidemiology, genetics, neuroimaging biomarkers, and integrated sensing technologies. He has participated in or led the development of international and domestic diagnostic criteria, guidelines, and consensus for Parkinson's disease. He initiated the establishment of the "China Parkinson's Disease Clinical Research Collaboration Group," the "China Parkinson's Alliance," and the "China Parkinson's Disease Imaging Research Alliance." He has undertaken multiple national key research and development projects, "973" and "863" programs, and major projects and topics of the Major Special Project for New Drug Creation.
