Research Direction Focusing on the construction of efficient discovery systems for marine natural cyclic peptides, structural identification, and functional mechanism research Research Achievements Established efficient trace-level tracking technology for novel marine cyclic peptides, innovatively developed neutral loss/precursor ion scanning strategies, and built a standard mass spectrometry library containing 538 marine peptides along with a mass spectrometry-guided separation system. Over the past 10 years, more than 100 new cyclic peptides have been discovered from marine sponges, 4 classes of rare novel skeletons have been elucidated, and the antitumor and immunosuppressive mechanisms of 4 active molecules have been clarified; broke through the bottleneck of drug sources, achieved large-scale synthesis of lead compounds such as PF-A and AL-A, providing key methods and material support for the research and development of marine peptide drugs. Published more than 40 SCI papers, including 18 as first author/corresponding author, in authoritative journals such as Org. Lett., J. Nat. Prod., Bioorg. Chem.; obtained 4 authorized Chinese invention patents. Presided over 5 national-level projects, including 3 sub-tasks of the National Key R&D Program and 1 General Program and 1 Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China each.
