Member of the Vascular Surgery Specialty Group of the 15th Committee of the Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, and member of the General Surgery Society of the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Medical Association. Vice Chairman of the 8th Peripheral Vascular Disease Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine, and expert for medical accident technical appraisal of the Shanghai Medical Association. Since 1983, has been engaged in basic and clinical research on peripheral vascular diseases. Once received the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the Ministry of Health and the State Education Commission. Awards from Shanghai Second Medical University and Shanghai Clinical Medical Achievement Award. Since 1996, has had 23 research projects in progress and 4 appraised achievements. Participated in completing 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects, and was responsible for 4 projects each from the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau and the Science and Technology Commission. Once received the Second Prize for Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress and the Third Prize for Shanghai Medical Science and Technology. Has supervised more than 20 master's degree students in vascular surgery and assisted in supervising 10 doctoral students. Published more than 50 papers and participated in editing 8 monographs. Has been appointed as an editorial board member of several well-known domestic journals. Graduated from the Department of Medicine of Shanghai Second Medical University in 1977, obtained a master's degree in 1993, and was promoted to professor of surgery and chief physician in 2000. In 1995, 2001, and 2009, respectively went to Yamagata University School of Medicine in Japan, HARTFORD Hospital in the United States, and the Leipzig Heart and Vascular Center in Germany for further study in vascular surgery.
