Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor Deputy Director of the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Renji Hospital; Chief Expert of the Colorectal Cancer Multidisciplinary Team, Renji Hospital Specializes in the surgical treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, minimally invasive treatment, neoadjuvant therapy, and conversion therapy for gastrointestinal tumors, especially metastatic gastrointestinal tumors and low rectal cancer, which has increased tumor resection rates, improved sphincter-preservation success rates, and enhanced patient survival rates and quality of life. Research Achievements Has published over 100 papers in domestic and international journals such as Molecular Therapy, Clinical and Translational Medicine, Cancer Letters, EBioMedicine, etc., with more than 50 indexed by SCI. Has obtained 4 national invention patents. Chief editor of the monograph "Refined Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment of Colorectal Tumors"; co-chief editor of monographs "Surgical Decision-Making and Techniques for Common Surgical Diseases" and "Clinical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Thinking and New Advances in Common Surgical Diseases"; co-chief translator of "Detailed Steps of Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery", etc. Currently serves as an editorial board member of journals including "Chinese Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery", "Chinese Journal of Digestive Surgery", "Surgery: Theory and Practice", and "Journal of Laparoscopic Surgery". Research Direction Has long been engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of common and complex diseases in the gastrointestinal and colorectal specialties of general surgery, proficient in modern diagnostic and therapeutic techniques such as laparoscopy, robotics, and endoscopy.
