Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, primary and secondary glomerulonephritis (IgA nephropathy, membranous nephropathy, focal segmental glomerulosclerosis and other refractory nephropathies, lupus nephritis, systemic vasculitis, purpura nephritis, diabetic nephropathy, hypertensive nephrosclerosis, etc.), nephrotic syndrome, and long-term follow-up after kidney transplantation. Particularly skilled in the prevention and treatment of acute and chronic kidney diseases and their complications using integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Mainly engaged in clinical and research work in acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and kidney transplantation, with unique professional expertise in the clinical diagnosis and treatment as well as basic research of kidney diseases. Focuses on the mechanism research of renal fibrosis after acute kidney injury, as well as other translational medicine research related to kidney diseases. Previously visited the Department of Nephrology at Brigham and Women's Hospital Affiliated to Harvard Medical School in the United States as a postdoctoral fellow. Has undertaken more than 20 research projects, including the National Key Research and Development Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China projects, and projects from the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. Has published more than 40 papers in core journals both domestically and internationally, including 20 SCI papers.
