Professor of Surgery at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Doctoral Supervisor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and Chief Physician of the Department of Urology at Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. In 2011, at the invitation of the Chinese Medical Association, he was responsible for the compilation of the 2013 edition of the Chinese Medical Association's "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Male Infertility" and "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Prostatitis" (diagnostic section), and as a member of the expert group, reviewed the guidelines for diseases such as "erectile dysfunction," "varicocele," and "priapism." He successively visited and pursued further study at George Washington University and Columbia University in the United States, and Hannover Medical School in Germany in 2002, 2005, and 2007. He has received titles such as Advanced Worker in Teaching at Renji Clinical Medical College, Outstanding Young Teacher at Shanghai Second Medical University, Outstanding Young Teacher at Shanghai Higher Education Institutions, Shanghai "Medical Garden New Star," and "Huangpu District Top Innovative Talent." He has published 62 papers in professional journals, including 10 papers in SCI-indexed journals. He has undertaken 8 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau, and Shanghai Municipal Population and Family Planning Commission, as well as 3 horizontal projects. Since 2012, he has served as a postdoctoral supervisor.
