Doctor of Medicine, Chief Physician of the Department of Urology at Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Specializes in the clinical diagnosis and treatment as well as minimally invasive surgery for urological tumors (bladder cancer, prostate cancer, and kidney cancer). Has visited and studied in Japan, France, the United States, and other places as a visiting scholar. After graduating from graduate school, has been working on the clinical frontline of urology and andrology for nearly thirty years, long committed to minimally invasive surgeries such as endourological surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and da Vinci robotic surgery, and has accumulated rich clinical experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgery of bladder cancer, prostate cancer, and kidney cancer, achieving good therapeutic outcomes, with surgical complication rates far lower than those reported in domestic and international literature. In particular, by combining clinical and basic research, has profound attainments in adopting comprehensive treatment strategies to reduce the recurrence rate of bladder cancer and in bladder-preserving treatment for high-risk bladder cancer. Research results have been published in multiple domestic and international journals. As a principal contributor, has received one second prize and one third prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, and one first prize of the Ministry of Education Award.
