Director of the Department of Urology at Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Chief Physician, and Doctoral Supervisor. Specializes in the surgical treatment of urological tumors, particularly early-stage prostate tumors, and individualized comprehensive treatment for advanced prostate cancer. Has performed over 2,000 Da Vinci robotic surgeries as the primary surgeon, accumulating extensive experience in highly difficult robotic prostate cancer surgery. Has developed and modified the posterior approach radical prostatectomy with Retzius-sparing technique, perineal radical prostatectomy, and single-port radical prostatectomy with maximum structure preservation (Hood technique), providing patients with better postoperative urinary continence and erectile function. In scientific research, primarily focuses on translational research of Raman spectroscopy in the early diagnosis and prognostic assessment of prostate tumors, and has developed an artificial intelligence-based prostate tumor early screening system using serum Raman detection. Meanwhile, conducts in-depth exploration of chemotherapy resistance mechanisms in advanced prostate tumors, achieving a series of original research findings. In the past 5 years, as principal investigator, has led 5 national and provincial/ministerial-level projects, and has published over 20 SCI papers as first author or corresponding author. Has received the First Prize of the Excellent Scientific Research Achievement Award of Higher Education Institutions from the Ministry of Education, the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second Prize of Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, the First Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award, and the "Jiahe" Outstanding Teaching Award from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
