Vice President of Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor. Specializes in complex and difficult urological diseases, particularly the surgical treatment and comprehensive management of prostate tumors. Has long been engaged in clinical and basic research on genitourinary system tumors, especially prostate tumors. Pioneered robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery in China at an early stage, and has profound accomplishments in the surgical treatment of prostate tumors, renal cancer, and bladder tumors. Meanwhile, has systematically and deeply conducted research on the molecular mechanisms and targeted interventions of prostate cancer progression, metastasis, and drug resistance, achieving a series of research results. Has published over 150 papers in total, including more than 100 indexed by SCI (49 with an impact factor above 5, and 20 above 10). Currently presides over 4 general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, has participated in the compilation of 8 Chinese expert consensus statements on prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment, and has carried out a series of in-depth studies in collaboration with internationally renowned urology centers such as Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Has received awards including the First Prize of the Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education, the First Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award, and the Baosteel Education Award. Has been selected as a Shanghai Leading Talent, Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leader, Shanghai Medical Leading Talent, and Shanghai Craftsman.
