M.D., Ph.D., Doctoral Supervisor Vice President, Neurosurgery Branch of Shanghai Medical Doctor Association Internationally, he was the first to study the detailed anatomical pathways and landmarks of the endoscope-assisted glabellar-nasion approach for the treatment of craniocerebral tumors, and performed the first clinical surgery in China, achieving success. As the sole or co-holder of rights, he invented national utility model patented surgical instruments, forming the "Neuroendoscopic Auxiliary Instrument Kit," which was approved by the state and applied in clinical surgery, translating into productivity. Through a series of instrument innovations combined with surgical innovation, he improved the neuroendoscopic operating system, expanded the field of endoscopic minimally invasive neurosurgery, and made it more mature; he was the first domestically and internationally to propose brain-adaptive reperfusion therapy for severe ischemic brain injury, which was confirmed through experimental research and guided clinical treatment. He has published 100 papers in Chinese and English, including in SCI-indexed journals such as Germany's "Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery" and "Chinese Medical Journal," and participated in the compilation of 7 books. In 2001, he received the Third Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. He has obtained 5 national utility model patents. He received the "Shi Siming Award" from the Shanghai Medical Association, and as a principal completer or first person in charge, received the Ministry of Education-nominated National Science and Technology First Prize once, Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Third Prize 3 times, Shanghai Health Bureau Science and Technology Progress Second Prize once, Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Third Prize once, and was honored with the Shanghai Health System "Silver Snake Award" Second Prize, Shi Siming Award, Meiji Dairy Life Science Award, Baosteel Education Award, Kuang Ankun Award, etc. In 2013, he was awarded "Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leader."
