Specializes in: Diagnosis and treatment of common spinal diseases such as cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, and lumbar spondylolisthesis. Has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic spinal diseases such as ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis involving the spine, spinal rheumatism, and osteoporosis. Research direction: Focuses on the pathological and repair mechanisms of cervical spondylotic myelopathy and acute spinal cord injury, as well as surgical and rehabilitation treatment of spinal cord injury. Research achievements: Currently has published over 20 SCI papers as first author, co-first author, and corresponding author, including in internationally renowned journals such as Spine, European Journal of Radiology, Journal of Neuroinflammation, and Molecular Neurobiology. Has led one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine Medical-Engineering Cross Project, and one Renji Hospital Research Innovation Cultivation Fund. Personal honors: In 2017, as a major contributor, received the First Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education. In 2018, received the Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leader Program (second contributor/trainee). In 2018, received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project. In 2019, was named an outstanding personnel aiding Yunnan in Muding County, Chuxiong Prefecture, Yunnan Province.
