M.D., Chief Physician, currently serves as the Administrative Deputy Director of the Department of Spine Surgery at Renji Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. With over 30 years of frontline clinical experience in orthopedics, he has long been engaged in the diagnosis and comprehensive treatment primarily through surgery for complex and challenging spinal diseases, including cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, lumbar spinal stenosis, lumbar spondylolisthesis, spinal deformities, and spinal tumors. He has performed nearly 10,000 spinal surgeries as the chief surgeon and specializes in minimally invasive spine treatment. He graduated with a doctoral degree from Changzheng Hospital of the Second Military Medical University and has successively pursued exchange and study in spine surgery at institutions including San Diego Children's Hospital in the United States, Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, and Schulthess Clinic in Switzerland. He has contributed to the compilation and translation of 13 spine-related monographs, published over 60 papers, and received one first prize and one second prize at the provincial and ministerial level.
