With 27 years of clinical experience in orthopedics, I have a thorough command of the diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for various orthopedic diseases, and specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of limb fractures and trauma as well as chronic joint diseases. I have particularly distinguished myself in the comprehensive treatment of osteoporotic fractures in the elderly and the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment of degenerative bone diseases in the elderly. I perform over 300 surgeries annually as the chief surgeon. I have published 6 SCI papers and 15 core journal papers as the first author or corresponding author, presided over 1 project of the Shanghai Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission and 1 project of the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and participated in the compilation of 3 professional monographs (as associate editor). I have received honors and commendations including the Shanghai Jiao Tong University President's Award and the Shanghai Health System Advanced Individual in Earthquake Relief.
