Professional expertise: aseptic necrosis of the femoral head and knee joint deformity caused by autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus erythematosus, and ankylosing spondylitis; various complex joint replacement surgeries for hip and knee degenerative osteoarthritis. In July 2000, as a visiting scholar, went to the Osteoarthropathy Diagnosis and Treatment Center of the Second University of Lyon, France, for further training, studying under an internationally renowned expert specializing in primary and revision surgery for artificial hip and knee replacements, completing hundreds of artificial hip and knee replacement surgeries each year, and to date has completed more than 2,000 joint replacement surgeries. In 2006, presided over Renji Hospital's first artificial elbow joint replacement for elbow flexion ankylosis caused by rheumatoid arthritis. In the same year, presided over and completed Renji Hospital's first artificial ankle joint replacement for traumatic arthritis of the ankle joint. Took the lead in conducting research in China on the relationship between prosthetic loosening after hip replacement and bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and the content of bone morphogenetic protein.
