Has long been engaged in research on precision prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management strategies for major rheumatic diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis. Has published over 200 academic papers in domestic and international professional journals including NEJM, BMJ, Lancet Rheum, QJM, CAMJ, Ann Rheum Dis, Arthritis Rheumatol, Rheumatology, JCI Insight, and Chest (including 149 SCI papers). Three research works have been cited by domestic and international guidelines, and has participated in the compilation of 12 domestic and international guidelines and consensus statements (leading 2). Chief editor or contributing editor of more than 20 monographs including "Antiphospholipid Syndrome," "Systemic Lupus Erythematosus," "Harrison's Rheumatology," "Kelley's Textbook of Rheumatology," and "Rheumatology." Has undertaken the "13th Five-Year Plan" National Key R&D Program Precision Medicine Special Project and multiple National Natural Science Foundation projects, as well as provincial and municipal projects. As a principal investigator, has led multiple clinical studies. Has obtained 3 patents including glucocorticoid-loaded nanocarriers, and has been awarded multiple honors including the First Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education and the First Prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, immune-related pregnancy, various types of arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Sjögren's syndrome, myositis, dermatomyositis, gout, and other diseases. In recent years, has pioneered the application of autologous/allogeneic mesenchymal stem cell therapy for osteoarthritis, CAR-T cell therapy for systemic lupus erythematosus and scleroderma, and multiple other cutting-edge novel technologies.
