Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of head and neck tumors such as laryngeal cancer, hypopharyngeal cancer, benign and malignant thyroid tumors, parotid and submandibular gland tumors. Has accumulated rich clinical experience in the surgical treatment of laryngeal cancer. Currently transitioning toward minimally invasive treatment of laryngeal cancer, using endoscopic laser resection of tumors, while effectively preserving all or part of laryngeal function and achieving excellent outcomes. Also skilled in voice reconstruction surgery for laryngeal cancer, various reconstructive surgeries, gastric interposition esophagopharyngeal anastomosis, and other major surgeries. Particularly proficient in various types of neck lymph node dissection, having completed hundreds of major neck lymph node dissections. Has unique insights and understanding regarding the diagnosis and treatment of cervical metastatic carcinoma of unknown primary origin. Has independently completed nearly ten thousand thyroid surgeries, including nearly 1000 surgical treatments for thyroid cancer, and is currently developing endoscopy-assisted thyroid surgery, all achieving satisfactory therapeutic outcomes. Participated in the compilation of 3 monographs including "Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment Manual of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery." Published more than 10 papers. Participated in several related research projects at various levels. Graduated from the Department of Medicine, Hunan Medical University (now Xiangya School of Medicine, Central South University) in 1988.
