With over 30 years of experience in general surgery, I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal, biliary, and pancreatic malignant tumors and various complex and intractable diseases; minimally invasive surgery for gastrointestinal, biliary, pancreatic, and hernia diseases. In recent years, the specialist group has been dedicated to developing minimally invasive surgery for malignant tumors, and was the first to perform totally laparoscopic radical resection of malignant tumors at the South Campus of Renji Hospital, including natural orifice specimen extraction surgery (NOSES) for rectal cancer, laparoscopic spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy, laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy, and laparoscopic radical resection for gallbladder and bile duct cancer, etc., ranking at the leading domestic level. The specialist group annually cures more than 200 cases of gastrointestinal malignant tumors and about 100 cases of biliary and pancreatic malignant tumors, with good outcomes and few complications, among which the proportion of laparoscopic minimally invasive procedures reaches 80%. The specialist group participated in the compilation of clinical monographs such as "Shi Weijin Biliary Surgery" and "Clinical Surgery of the Biliary-Pancreatic-Duodenal Region." In the past 5 years, it has led a total of 2 research projects funded by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and the Shanghai Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission, and has published more than 10 related SCI papers.
