Associate Chief Physician Wen Jing is an outstanding young specialist emerging in the field of strabismus and pediatric ophthalmology. She graduated from Peking University's eight-year clinical medicine program in 2015, earning a Doctor of Ophthalmology degree, and began her career in the Pediatric Ophthalmology Department at Peking University First Hospital the same year, where she developed a solid clinical foundation. In December 2025, Dr. Wen Jing transferred to the Department of Ophthalmology at Peking University Third Hospital. Dr. Wen Jing serves as a committee member in several important professional organizations, including the Children's Ophthalmology Committee of the China Medical Education Association and the Prematurity and Premature Infant Management Branch of the China Association for Promoting Birth Science. She is also a member of the expert panel for Beijing's Children's Eye and Vision Care Program and the Diagnostic and Assessment Institution for Visual Disabilities in Children Aged 0-6, and has served as a member of the 2024 National Medical Tour Team expert group, contributing to grassroots healthcare services. Her professional focus centers on the diagnosis and treatment of strabismus and amblyopia, as well as children's visual and refractive development. In research, Dr. Wen Jing has demonstrated exceptional capability. She has led two clinical research projects at Peking University First Hospital and participated in the Capital Health Development Research Special Project and the Beijing Municipal Health Commission's Appropriate Technology Promotion Project. She has published 10 papers in internationally renowned journals such as the *British Journal of Ophthalmology* and *Frontiers in Pediatrics*, with 7 as first author. Notably, she has significant experience in innovative drug development. Dr. Wen Jing holds the qualification of Principal Investigator for pediatric ophthalmology medical devices and has participated in multiple international multicenter clinical trials for innovative drugs targeting pediatric diseases, including SUNFISH, FIREFISH, and SKYWAY, contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge therapeutic technologies in pediatric ophthalmology.
