Work Experience During my graduate studies, I studied under Professor Wan Feng, a renowned cardiac surgery expert in China and a pioneer of beating-heart bypass surgery. I graduated from Peking University Health Science Center in 2003 with a Doctor of Clinical Medicine degree. In 2006, I was dispatched by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Personnel to support the cardiac surgery department at the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University for one year, serving as Deputy Director of Cardiac Surgery, with a focus on assisting the local hospital in developing minimally invasive coronary artery bypass grafting. From October 2007 to January 2008, I pursued advanced training in minimally invasive cardiac surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital and St. Vincent Hospital in New York, USA. Over more than 20 years of clinical practice, I have accumulated extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of common cardiac surgical diseases, performing over 500 cardiac surgeries annually as the lead surgeon, including 400 off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting procedures, with a surgical success rate of 99.5%. Since May 2012, I have taken the lead in comprehensively initiating minimally invasive small-incision coronary artery bypass grafting in China. As of April 2019, I have completed over 1,000 small-incision coronary artery bypass grafting procedures as the lead surgeon, making me the first surgeon in China to surpass 1,000 such procedures. In 2018, I was awarded the "Glorious Healer – Golden Scalpel" Award by People's Daily, Global Times, and Times. Since August 2018, I have served as Director of the Department of Cardiac Surgery.
