Graduated from Beijing Medical University with a Bachelor's degree in Medicine in 1987 Obtained a Doctorate in Internal Medicine from Beijing Medical University in 1993 1993-1998: Attending Physician, Department of Nephrology, Peking University Third Hospital 1998-2006: Associate Chief Physician, Department of Nephrology, Peking University Third Hospital (promoted to Associate Professor in 1999) 2006-Present: Chief Physician, Department of Nephrology, Peking University Third Hospital (promoted to Professor in 2010) With 30 years of clinical experience in nephrology, I have been responsible for ward medical care for an extended period and currently continue to lead this work. I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of various glomerular diseases, with extensive experience in nephrotic syndrome, nephritic syndrome, membranous nephropathy, IgA nephropathy, and minimal change disease. As a leading figure in the diagnosis and treatment of membranous nephropathy in our department, I established the Peking University Third Hospital membranous nephropathy cohort. Our treatment approach closely follows internationally leading protocols, ranging from the more potent obinutuzumab to low-dose rituximab for membranous nephropathy, both of which have been applied for several years. I have accumulated years of experience in immunotargeted therapy for membranous nephropathy, helping patients achieve favorable outcomes while being liberated from steroid dependence. Recently, I have published multiple articles on the diagnosis and treatment of membranous nephropathy in both domestic and international journals. Currently, I have innovatively proposed obinutuzumab monotherapy (steroid-free) for minimal change disease, from which approximately 20 patients have already benefited. I am also collaborating with the Reproductive Medicine Center, actively participating in genetic blocking for polycystic kidney disease, with the goal of helping affected families avoid bearing children with the disease.
