**Research Work** I have long been engaged in clinical and basic research on respiratory critical illness and lower respiratory tract infections. From 2011 to 2012, I received postdoctoral training at Stanford University in the United States, funded by the Ho-Ho-Li Scholarship. I have conducted a series of studies on severe infections. Through population pharmacokinetic studies, I established antimicrobial population pharmacokinetic models, achieving individualized therapy with meropenem and vancomycin in elderly patients with severe infections, thereby providing valuable data for the rational use of antimicrobial agents. I conducted in-depth research on the clinical characteristics and pathogenesis of sepsis, established a sepsis cohort, analyzed the impact of baseline and dynamic indicators on sepsis prognosis, and developed an early prediction model for clinical outcomes in septic patients. By employing flow cytometry, cytokine and inflammatory mediator analysis, and lipid metabolomics, I explored the mechanisms underlying the onset and progression of sepsis, leading to the discovery of novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets, and pioneering the interdisciplinary research direction of immunity and metabolism in the understanding of sepsis. Additionally, I have conducted research on respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, and thoracic tumors. I have led research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (General Program), the Peking University Third Hospital Cohort Construction Project, and key clinical projects.
