Specializes in the integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine diagnosis and treatment of chronic consumptive diseases. Has presided over 2 National Natural Science Foundation projects and 1 project of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and participated in 2 projects under the National Science and Technology Support Program and the 973 Program. Has published more than 30 papers, of which over 20 are indexed by SCI, and co‑compiled and co‑translated 4 textbooks and monographs. Awards received include the First Prize of the Science and Technology Award of Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine (5th place), the First Prize for Monograph of the Science and Technology Award of China Association of Chinese Medicine (2nd place), the First Prize of Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Award (3rd place), the First Prize for Monograph of Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Award (2nd place), and the Third Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award (2nd place).
