Short stature due to growth hormone deficiency, idiopathic short stature, familial short stature, short stature with physical and pubertal developmental delay, short stature complicated by puberty, short stature caused by hypothyroidism, and nutritional short stature. 2. Central precocious puberty, peripheral precocious puberty, and rapidly‑progressive puberty in children. 3. Recurrent cough, wheezing disorders, bacterial pneumonia, mycoplasma pneumonia, and fever with rash in children. 【Publications】: Has published more than 10 medical reviews and papers. 【Research Interests】: Focuses on research of pediatric endocrine disorders including short stature, precocious puberty and childhood obesity. 【Biography】: Admitted to the Department of Pediatrics, Shanghai Second Medical College (now Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine) in 1978 and obtained his bachelor’s degree in 1983. Served as Director of the Department of General Surgery, Shanghai Children’s Medical Center Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and member of the doctoral supervisor group. Received further training at the University of Chicago and the Liver Transplantation Centre of the University of Hong Kong. Worked as a senior visiting scholar at the Fetal Therapy Center of the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center (UCSF).
