Specializes in comprehensive surgical diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer, gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, and biliary and duodenal malignant tumors. His main research focuses on "heterogeneity of the pancreatic tumor microenvironment, its mechanisms and clinical translational research", covering tumor types including pancreatic cancer and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. He has presided over 3 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 projects of the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation, and 1 key project under the National Cancer Center Climbing Program. He was a recipient of the 2023 Special Program for Neuroendocrine Tumors under the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 50 papers with a total SCI impact factor of over 300, and was awarded the title of Outstanding Young Specialist Physician of Shanghai in 2017.
