ACCOMPLISHMENT

Presided over 3 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China; participated in 2 collaborative projects of the 863 Program; undertook one sub‑project of the National Science & Technology Support Program during the 12th Five‑Year Plan, one project under Jiangsu International Science and Technology Cooperation Program, and one key medical research project of Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission.

Received scientific and technological awards including the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, Tianjin Natural Science Award, Jiangsu Science and Technology Progress Award, and Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission Medical New Technology Introduction Award.

RESEARCH

Has published 20 SCI papers as corresponding author and first author (17 as corresponding author). The highest impact factor for a single corresponding‑author paper is 12.104. His papers have been cited by authoritative journals such as Nature Communications and PNAS. He also serves as a review expert for the National Natural Science Foundation of China.

He has carried out systematic and solid work on the diagnosis, treatment and basic research of lympho‑hematopoietic neoplasms, and conducted valuable explorations into prognostic models and novel therapeutic strategies for such diseases. Internationally, he first identified defects in the necroptosis pathway in lymphoid tumor cells and investigated the molecular mechanisms underlying these defects. His research findings were selected for an oral presentation at the ASH Annual Meeting.

SPECIALITY

Specializes in standardized diagnosis and treatment of multiple myeloma, lymphoma, amyloidosis, leukemia and various types of anemia. Internationally, he first promoted the screening program for multiple myeloma based on M‑proteinemia. Domestically, he took the lead in popularizing the multidisciplinary collaborative diagnosis‑and‑treatment model for multiple myeloma and lymphoma, which has significantly improved treatment outcomes and survival of relevant patients.
