Doctor of Vascular Surgery, Associate Chief Physician, Master’s Supervisor. He studied at the Department of Vascular Surgery, West Virginia University in the United States in 2003. From 2009 to 2011, he completed his post‑doctoral research at the Saint Joseph’s Translational Cardiovascular Research Center, Emory University in the United States. In 2019, he worked as a visiting scholar at the Department of Vascular Surgery, Asahikawa Medical University Hospital in Japan. He is currently affiliated with the Department of Vascular Surgery, Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University. He is engaged in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of aortic diseases, lower‑extremity arterial occlusive diseases, complex dialysis vascular access, carotid artery diseases and lower‑extremity venous diseases, and is proficient in minimally invasive endovascular procedures and open surgeries for the above‑mentioned conditions. He has been awarded the Young Investigator Fellowship by the Asian Society for Vascular Surgery and the Case of the Year Award at Asia‑Pacific DASy for dialysis access. He performed the nation’s first abdominal aortic reconstruction using autologous vein for infectious abdominal aortic aneurysm, as well as the nation’s first surgical creation of lower‑extremity dialysis vascular access via total autologous superficial femoral vein transposition. He specializes in complex vascular surgical procedures, including complicated abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, peri‑ankle and infra‑ankle distal bypass surgery, and challenging dialysis access procedures. He has participated in multiple international and domestic multicenter clinical trials on peripheral vascular diseases, and taken part in basic research for numerous scientific projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and Key Basic Research Projects of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. He has published a number of academic papers in domestic and international journals, including more than 10 SCI‑indexed papers, and co‑authored or edited multiple academic monographs. He holds a number of authorized patents.
