Chief Physician, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University; Deputy Director of the Department of Vascular Surgery; Deputy Director of the Institute of Vascular Surgery, Fudan University. He has long‑term engagement in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of vascular surgical diseases, and has accumulated extensive research foundations and clinical experience in the pathogenesis and clinical diagnosis‑and‑treatment of peripheral arterial diseases, especially extracranial carotid atherosclerotic diseases, lower‑extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans, aneurysms and lower‑extremity venous diseases. He has presided over and participated in the completion of 10 research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, research grants from the Ministry of Health, research grants from the Ministry of Education, major project funds of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and grants from the Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau. Over the past decade, he has published more than 50 papers in national core journals and 20 SCI‑indexed papers, and has won six Science and Technology Achievement Awards issued by the Chinese Medical Association, the Ministry of Education and Shanghai Municipality.
