Academic Titles: In 2014, he was sponsored by the government to work as a Senior Visiting Scholar at Barnes‑Jewish Hospital, University of Washington in the United States, studying under Professor Patterson and Professor Meyers, Presidents of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery.

Areas of Expertise: With over 20 years of clinical experience in thoracic surgery, he is proficient in a full spectrum of common thoracic surgical conditions. He possesses extensive clinical experience in the individualized diagnosis and treatment of patients with various small pulmonary nodules, including pulmonary ground‑glass nodules. He treats nearly 3,000 patients with small pulmonary nodules annually, with a cumulative case volume of tens of thousands. He excels at developing individualized treatment regimens tailored to the clinical profiles of different patients with small pulmonary nodules. Optimized therapies are delivered according to each patient’s specific condition, including minimally invasive surgery, radiofrequency ablation, microwave ablation and other interventions. He pioneered the methylene blue and medical n‑butyl cyanoacrylate injection localization technique for small pulmonary nodules worldwide, which received widespread acclaim at the European Congress of Thoracic Surgery. Beyond mastery of conventional operations, he specializes in minimally invasive thoracic surgical procedures, including thoracoscopic lobectomy, single‑port thoracoscopic lobectomy, thoracoscopic segmentectomy, thoracoscopic stereotactic‑guided pulmonary wedge resection, thoracoscopic total thymectomy, thoracoscopic mediastinal tumor resection, and thoracoscopic‑laparoscopic esophagectomy.

Academic Achievements: He has been awarded the Second Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and the Third Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award. He holds 5 national utility model patents. As principal investigator and key contributor, he has undertaken one General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, one Shanghai Natural Science Foundation project, one Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau project, as well as multiple projects under the Fudan University Young Backbone Talent Program and Zhongshan Hospital institutional research grants. He has published more than 20 papers in Chinese core journals and over 30 SCI papers in authoritative journals such as Annals of Surgery and Surgical Endoscopy.
