Professor, Chief Physician, Doctoral Supervisor, Director of the Department of Thoracic Surgery, Director of Esophageal Surgery, and Director of the Esophageal Cancer Center at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University. He has published more than 80 papers, including over 20 SCI papers. He has been invited to deliver presentations at international conferences such as AATS, STS, ISDE and JES on multiple occasions. As the primary completer, he has won the Second‑class Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and the Third‑class Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award once each. He has been selected for the "top10dr" List of China's Top 100 Doctors for consecutive years. He has long been committed to the technological innovation and promotion of minimally invasive pulmonary surgery and esophageal surgery.

Areas of Expertise: In the field of minimally invasive pulmonary surgery, he has focused on uniportal thoracoscopic technology in recent years, and extensively performs surgeries including uniportal lobectomy, segmentectomy and sleeve resection. In the field of minimally invasive esophageal surgery, he is an advocate of prone‑position thoracoscopic surgery and refined mediastinal lymph node dissection, and has widely carried out minimally invasive surgeries following neoadjuvant therapy. While benefiting a large number of patients, he has earned international recognition for China’s minimally invasive thoracic surgery.
