Specializes in conventional and minimally invasive surgical treatment of coronary heart disease; repair of heart valve diseases and prosthetic valve replacement; correction of various complex adult congenital cardiac malformations; surgical treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy; surgical diagnosis and treatment of heart failure, etc. M.D., graduated from Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University. Has long‑term front‑line clinical experience, and previously served as Surgical Resident, Attending Physician and Associate Chief Physician at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University. Completed a 4‑year clinical fellowship in Cardiac Surgery at Mayo Clinic, USA. During postdoctoral research, he mainly focused on clinical and basic research of xenogeneic heart transplantation. Currently, he presides over one sub‑project of the Major Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one "Science and Technology Innovation" project of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. He has participated in and completed three General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 20 papers in domestic and international medical journals, including 15 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author. His relevant academic achievements have been presented as oral and poster reports at the annual meetings of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) and American Surgical Association (ASA) on multiple occasions.
