Specializes in minimally‑invasive valve repair and replacement, transcatheter valve implantation, off‑pump coronary artery bypass grafting, minimally‑invasive atrial septal defect repair, surgical correction of complex adult congenital heart disease, surgical treatment of aortic aneurysms and cardiac tumors, etc. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the former Shanghai Medical University in 1998 and his doctorate from Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University. In 2007, he visited National Taiwan University Hospital to study extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) technology for critically‑ill patients. He won the first prize in the valve group of the Cardiac Surgery Skills Competition at the National Annual Conference of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery in 2015. He has published more than 10 papers as the first author in domestic and international journals.
