Associate Chief Physician. With 30 years of clinical experience in cardiac surgery, he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cases of various congenital heart diseases, especially the surgical management of Ebstein's anomaly. He also has unique expertise in surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting, as well as repair and replacement of mitral, tricuspid and aortic valves. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree in Cardiac Surgery from Peking Union Medical College. He received professional training and engaged in clinical practice for many years at Fuwai Cardiovascular Hospital in Beijing (now the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases). He has pursued further studies at Toronto General Hospital and The Hospital for Sick Children in Canada. He has participated in three research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, published numerous papers and co‑authored two monographs.
