Chief Physician, Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor. Specializes in various minimally‑invasive valvuloplasty and valve replacement, coronary artery bypass grafting, surgical treatment of congenital heart disease and aneurysms; with particular expertise in surgical diagnosis and treatment of atrial septal defect closure, cardiac tumors, pericardial lesions, atrial fibrillation ablation, and hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy. Graduated from Fudan University Shanghai Medical College (formerly Shanghai Medical University) in 1999, and has been working at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University ever since. He has participated in more than 6,000 cardiac surgeries in total and independently performs over 400 operations annually. He took part in drafting selected chapters for the 3rd and 4th editions of *Practical Surgery*, and has delivered presentations at numerous domestic academic conferences. His research focuses on basic research of heart transplantation and induced differentiation of cardiac stem cells. He has presided over one General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation and one Provincial‑ministerial Natural Science Foundation project, and has participated in multiple clinical research projects. As corresponding author or first author, he has published more than 20 papers in international and domestic journals, 13 of which are indexed by SCI.
