Chief Physician, Associate Professor and Master Supervisor. He has long been engaged in clinical diagnosis and treatment in cardiac surgery. He specializes in surgical correction of various congenital heart diseases, valve replacement surgery, valve repair surgery, coronary artery bypass grafting, and surgical treatment of various aortic aneurysms. He obtained his Doctoral Degree in 1996 and pursued advanced studies at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Rhode Island, the United States in 1998. He has presided over and completed multiple research projects funded by the Scientific Research Fund of the Ministry of Health, Major Project Fund of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau. As the first author or corresponding author, he has published 22 papers abroad and nearly more than 30 papers in China. He has participated in the compilation of *Modern Surgery*, *Dynamic Three‑Dimensional Ultrasound Reconstruction of Voxel Models for Cardiovascular Diseases* (second author), *Color Doppler Ultrasound Diagnostics*, and *Gu Kaishi's Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery*. He was awarded the Second‑class Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of the Ministry of Health in 1996, the Second‑class Prize for Shanghai Scientific and Technological Progress in 1998, and the Third‑class Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of the Ministry of Health in 1998. He is one of the key participants in the surgical practice and basic research of heart transplantation at Zhongshan Hospital. He has supervised 12 postgraduate students for Master's degrees.
