Specializes in minimally invasive repair and surgical treatment of cardiovascular and macrovascular surgical diseases including valvular heart disease, coronary heart disease, cardiac tumors and congenital heart disease. He has particular expertise in minimally‑invasive interventional therapy and surgical procedures for various aortic diseases. He has presided over 5 research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and Shanghai Health Commission, and published more than 40 papers. As a key contributor, he has won one Second‑class Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, one Second‑class Prize of Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, one Second‑class Prize of Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award, as well as one First‑class Prize and one Third‑class Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award.
