He is skilled in ultrasonic diagnosis of complex and difficult echocardiographic cases and the application of new echocardiography technologies in cardiovascular diseases. As Deputy Director of the Department of Cardiac Ultrasound Diagnosis, he has presided over two projects of the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and two projects of the Shanghai Natural Science Foundation, and published more than 100 papers. He has been awarded the Second‑class Award of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, one Second‑class Award of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, three Third‑class Awards of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, and one Third‑class Award of the Ministry of Health Science and Technology Progress Award. He is the chief editor of the Ministry of Health medical CAI courseware *Ultrasonic Diagnosis of Cardiovascular Diseases*, *Application of Echocardiography in Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapy*, *Classification and Ultrasonic Diagnosis of Congenital Heart Disease*, and *Introduction to Cardiac Ultrasound*, and the associate editor of *Diagnosis of Difficult and Complicated Echocardiographic Cases*.
