He is proficient in standardized surgical management of common general‑surgical diseases. His main clinical focus lies in standardized surgical treatment for gastrointestinal tumors, with particular expertise in laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery and multidisciplinary team (MDT) comprehensive therapy for advanced gastric cancer.

For late‑stage gastric cancer with potentially resectable conversion opportunities, including complex and challenging cases such as extensive lymph node metastasis, liver metastasis and peritoneal metastasis, he routinely delivers individualized comprehensive therapies incorporating immunotherapy combinations, interventional embolization and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy based on advances in precision medicine, and has accumulated extensive clinical experience. He has presided over 10 research projects in total, among which 3 are supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His research mainly covers clinical and translational medicine studies on gastric cancer. As the first or corresponding author, he has published more than 30 SCI papers in well‑known journals including Gastroenterology, Gut, Cell Reports Medicine, Nature Communications, Cancer Research, Gastric Cancer and British Journal of Cancer.
