Chief Physician. Born in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, he is a Chief Physician in the Department of Neurosurgery at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University.

He graduated from the Department of Medicine, Shanghai Medical University in 1992, and has been working in the Department of Neurosurgery at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University ever since graduation. He has long been engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of nervous system diseases (cerebrovascular diseases, nervous system tumors, craniocerebral trauma, etc.) and is proficient in performing various neurosurgical operations. Over the past two decades, he has mainly devoted himself to the clinical practice, teaching and research of cerebral and spinal vascular diseases.

He specializes in the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of intracranial aneurysms, cerebrovascular malformations, dural arteriovenous fistulas, traumatic cavernous sinus arteriovenous fistulas, spinal vascular malformations, carotid artery stenosis, intracranial artery stenosis, and acute large‑vessel occlusive cerebral infarction.

He was among the early practitioners in China to perform endovascular therapy for various cerebral and spinal vascular diseases, and has committed to promoting transradial‑approach neurointerventional diagnosis and treatment, with therapeutic outcomes reaching a leading domestic level. He has presided over multiple provincial‑ and municipal‑level research projects, participated in formulating 4 expert consensus documents in the field of neurointervention, and published more than ten Chinese and English academic papers as the corresponding author.
