Has long been engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases, with main research focuses on the clinical management and molecular mechanisms of lung cancer. He/She has extensive experience in lung cancer diagnosis and treatment, as well as differentiating benign from malignant pulmonary small nodules. Over 3,000 patients with pulmonary nodules are treated annually. He/She has participated in multiple international multicenter clinical trials of novel targeted‑therapy and immunotherapy drugs for lung cancer.In recent years, genomic and bioinformatic approaches have been applied to analyze the pathogenesis of lung cancer. Thirteen relevant papers have been published as the first or corresponding author, among which 11 are SCI papers, including top‑tier international oncology journals such as Seminars in Cancer Biology, Cancer Metastasis Reviews, and Cancer, with a total impact factor of more than 60. He/She presides over one Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China entitled "Dynamic regulatory network modeling and key node prediction for lung adenocarcinoma progression" (Grant No. 31400713). As a core team member, he/she has taken part in eight research projects including multiple National Natural Science Foundation projects and key special programs for chronic diseases funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.
