Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, respiratory failure, lung cancer and other conditions. His main research interests include lung injury, epidemiological features, molecular pathogenesis and precision therapy of chronic airway diseases.He has presided over vertical and horizontal research projects including sub‑projects of the National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than 40 domestic and international papers. His academic achievements have won the Second Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award and the Second Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Award, with one authorized utility model patent. He has led medical education research projects sponsored by the Medical Education Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Higher Education and Fudan University, and published multiple teaching papers. He has participated in drafting expert consensus on the diagnosis and management of bronchial asthma. He has co‑authored and co‑translated many monographs, such as *Practical Internal Medicine*, *National Respiratory Physician Regular Assessment Course*, *The Merck Manual*, and *Up‑To‑Date Chinese Version*. He is the recipient of the First Outstanding Young and Middle‑aged Respiratory Physician Award issued by the Chinese Thoracic Physician Association under the Chinese Medical Doctor Association.
