Engaged in medical practice, teaching and research of respiratory diseases for more than 20 years, he has conducted in‑depth research and accumulated rich clinical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of complicated pulmonary diseases, especially lung tumors and diffuse interstitial lung diseases. He is currently responsible for diagnosing and treating patients in the specialized clinics for interstitial lung disease and targeted therapy for lung cancer.As a principal participant and participant, he has completed multiple research projects sponsored by the Ministry of Health, including "Experimental and Clinical Study on Three‑step Administration of Monoclonal Antibody‑guided Imaging for Non‑small Cell Lung Cancer", "New Therapeutic Technologies for Respiratory Failure", "Application of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor and Its Monoclonal Antibody in the Diagnosis of Lung Cancer", and "Gene Expression Profiles of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease". He presided over and completed the research project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant No. 81172219): "Effects of the Chronic Inflammatory Microenvironment of COPD on Recurrence and Progression of Lung Cancer Caused by Tumor Autologous Implantation". He has published more than 50 papers and participated in compiling many monographs such as *Diagnosis and Differential Diagnosis of Respiratory Diseases*, *Clinical Internal Medicine‑Theories and Advances*, and *Practical Internal Medicine*.
