Chief Physician, Associate Professor, Master's Supervisor in Rehabilitation Medicine, Doctor of Orthopedics and Postgraduate Supervisor. He specializes in surgical treatment and post‑operative rehabilitation for spinal disorders including cervical spondylosis, cervical and lumbar disc herniation combined with spinal stenosis, lumbar spondylolisthesis, cervical, thoracic and lumbar fractures complicated with spinal cord injury, as well as orthopedic conditions such as acute and chronic peripheral nerve injuries.

He has presided over research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, and participated in 10 research programs including key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key R&D programs of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and key clinical medicine projects of institutions directly under the Ministry of Health. He has published more than 60 papers. He was awarded the Second‑class Prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award in 2000 and the Second‑class Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2003. He has participated in compiling five academic monographs and served as the chief editor of one academic monograph.
