After graduating from the School of Public Health, Fudan University in 2001, he has been working in the Department of Infection Management, Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University up to the present. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the department, Associate Research Fellow, and Master’s Supervisor.He was awarded the honor of Advanced Individual in the Fight against COVID‑19 in Shanghai in 2020, the Third Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award (second completer) in 2020, and the Shanghai Quality Gold Award of 2020. In recent years, he has published more than 50 papers in domestic and international core journals as the first author or corresponding author; obtained 2 utility model patents; served as chief editor for 10 monographs, associate chief editor for 2 monographs, and co‑authored multiple publications. He has participated in hospital‑infection‑related inspection work many times as an expert for the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission. Entrusted by the National Healthcare‑associated Infection Quality Control Center, he has repeatedly taken charge of formulating questionnaires, collecting data and conducting statistical analysis for national research and survey projects. Since the COVID‑19 outbreak in 2020, commissioned by the Comprehensive Group of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council, he has participated in front‑line epidemic prevention and control work in Shanghai, Urumqi, Shijiazhuang, Tonghua, Changchun, Zhangjiajie, Xiamen, Dalian, Xi’an, Anyang and other locations. Starting from 2012, he has assisted Professor Hu Bijie in organizing the Shanghai International Forum on Healthcare‑associated Infection Control, the largest academic conference in the field of healthcare‑associated infection in China, which attracted 4,700 on‑site participants in 2019. In addition, he has organized national continuing‑education training programs and international academic conferences, including the role of microorganisms in healthcare‑associated infections and antimicrobial application, healthcare‑associated infection and hospital epidemiology, and the training program for infection‑control physicians. He delivers nearly one hundred lectures annually on major national academic platforms related to infection control. Since 2011, he has worked as a full‑time secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Healthcare‑associated Infection Quality Control Center, undertaking the administration of healthcare‑associated infection for medical institutions across Shanghai. At the end of 2021, he took the post of Secretary‑General of the "Shanghai Municipal‑level Hospital Infection Prevention and Control Specialty Alliance", responsible for promoting the comprehensive improvement of infection prevention and control capabilities in designated municipal‑level hospitals. In 2022, as the project principal investigator, he successfully applied for the municipal‑level hospital infection‑prevention‑and‑control training base project entitled *Training and Supervision of Hospital‑wide Staff’s Infection‑Control Practices*.
